New: Booklet devised to assist staff recovering from COVID 19
Welcome to our website which is designed to share the tremendous work that goes on here at St Mary’s Campus. St. Mary’s Hospital Campus provides services to older adults living in Community Health Organisation 9, Dublin North City and County. The campus comprises of St Mary’s Hospital (48 beds), St Mary’s Day Hospital and Phoenix Park Community Nursing Unit (150 beds).
Our nursing practice is underpinned by the core values of compassion, care and commitment. These values and their associated behaviours are the very essence of nursing practice and form the basis for our professional decision making and actions.
Our nursing team works in collaboration with the medical, and health and social care professionals in providing comprehensive multidisciplinary healthcare to our outpatients, inpatients and residents. St. Mary’s Hospital as a teaching hospital supports students of nursing, medicine, dietetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work and speech and language from the major Dublin Universities and includes clinical links to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Connolly Hospital and Beaumont Hospital.
I am very impressed at how the nursing and support staff demonstrate their commitment and dedication to the patients, residents and their family members. With the support of Nursing Management, Practice Development, Nurse Tutor, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Case Managers and nursing teams, we strive to enhance the care provided to our residents and patients. We welcome feedback in surveys, incidents and complaints received and together with the multidisciplinary team, we embrace the learning from our reviews. As a learning organisation, we strive to implement all learning identified to ensure quality care is at the forefront of everything we do.
I hope that you enjoy your visit to our website.
